How we rank

What EveryCart checks, what it leaves out, and how it orders results. The short version: commission never plays a part.

Finding the exact product

We search product listings from retailers including Best Buy, Target, Walmart, B&H, Adorama, brand stores and many others, using a product data provider. A listing only counts if it is the model you entered: the brand and every part of the model name have to match. We skip accessories and parts that share the name (cases, ear pads, filters), different versions of the same line (an XM4 is not an XM5; earbuds are not headphones), and stores outside the US.

Which prices we show

  • The lowest current price for a new, in-stock item.
  • The lowest price at a major, well-known retailer, so you can compare against a store you trust.
  • Up to four stores per product, cheapest new offers first. Refurbished or used listings are labeled and never used as the headline price.
  • Warnings for stores we don't recognize, membership-only stores, and TV prices that may be for a different screen size.

Ratings

Star ratings are combined across stores and adjusted for how many reviews there are, so a 5.0 from three reviews doesn't outrank a 4.6 from thousands.

When we compare several products

On this site, results appear in the order you entered them. When EveryCart works inside an AI assistant, it ranks a shortlist on expert endorsements reported by the assistant, review-adjusted ratings and price, and it says so in the results.

How we make money

Some links are affiliate links: if you buy, the store may pay us a commission. Commission rates are never used to choose which stores or products to show or how to order them. See our affiliate disclosure.

Limits

Prices and stock change constantly, and our data can lag a store's site by hours. We can't yet see in-store stock or delivery dates. The store's checkout page always has the final word.
